Juggling Presents Birthday Card

It can sometimes be hard coming up with ideas for cards suitable for men, but this set of stickers make great cards for children and adults, both male and female...

Materials and Tools

Pond-side Celebration Stickeroo stickers
A6 Black Card Blank
Textured green card (we used Mint)
White and black card
Double sided tape
Mini-mounting pads

Instructions

1. First, we need to make the picture topper, which is made up of 3 layers... Cut out a piece of white card, measuring 6.3 x 5.6cm (2 1/2" x 2 1/4") and place the frog juggling presents sticker centrally onto this piece of card. Next, cut out a piece of black card measuring 6.8 x 6.1cm (2 11/16" x 2 7/16") and stick the white card centrally onto this using double sided tape. Finally, cut out a rectangle of the green card, measuring 7.6 x 6.9cm (3" x 2 3/4") and stick the black card centrally onto this.

2. The next step is to make the wording topper to go underneath the picture... Print out a "Happy Birthday" message in a font of your choice, using a word processing package. Cut the wording out and mount this onto a slightly larger rectangle of black card and then a slightly larger rectangle of the green card, as we did in the first step.

If you don't want to print out your message, we have a wide range of wording stickers and rubber stamps to use instead.

3. All we need to do now is to put the card together. Position the Frog topper centrally on the card blank, about 1.5cm (1/2") from the top of the card and stick into position with mini mounting pads. Position the wording topper so that it is centrally placed beneath the frog topper and stick it down with mini mounting pads as well.

Your card is finished!

Alternatives:

If you don't have access to a printer, you could stamp a message onto white card for the wording topper.

If you use an insert, you can use one or more of the smaller stickers on the sheet to brighten up the inside of the card and continue with the theme on the front of the card.
