"Fabulous Birthday" Wild Rose Studio Card

Sassy birthday card for any girl about town. This fun and simple project using Wild Rose Studio's 'Hey There' stamp makes a great birthday card for girls and ladies.

Instructions

1. Firstly, stamp the Hey There girl onto white card and cut a rectangle around her measuring approximately 10.5 x 7cm. Next, colour the image in with ProMarker pens as desired. Now layer this onto a slightly larger rectangle of red card, and put to one side.

2. Cut and fold some white card to make an A6 card blank measuring approximately 15cm x 11.5cm and attach a piece of red card approximately 3mm smaller than the front of your card blank on all sides. Add some overlapping patterned paper strips across the red card (see main picture).

3. Attach the girly image panel to the middle of the card with sticky pads. Add your chosen greeting below the image as shown.

4. Punch out a flower shape from your light blue card, and layer it up along with your other flower embellishment using a Candy Floss brad to attach. Tie some ribbon around the top of the card and add a ribbon bow using a glue dot to finish. And there it is - fabulous!
