They have been especially designed for cutting out detailed work. A clever adjustable knob on the side lets you control exactly how long each cut will be.
To make a cut you just need to gently squeeze them, so if you find normal scissors uncomfortable or difficult to use then these will be an instant hit.
The blade is about 2 cm (3/4") long and is made from stainless steel.
