This FingerGuard A5 Trimmer is a lighter, more compact version of its famous big brother, the superb FingerGuard 12" Trimmer.

With a 21cm long cutting surface (approx 8 1/3"), the trimmer is large enough to cut A5 card blanks, as well as A4 card and paper widthways.

Lightweight and simple to operate, the trimmer will cut, perforate and score both paper and card, and is the perfect size for cropping photographs.

With a patented safety system, the blade is concealed, so there's no need to worry about sharp edges while changing blades or feeding paper in.

The trimmer includes 3 blades to get you started - one straight blade, one scoring blade and one perforating blade. You can store these safely in the built-in storage compartment underneath the trimmer.

Operating instructions appear on the packaging, but using the trimmer couldn't be easier. Just choose your blade and insert it into the blade cassette. Lift up the tracking bar and line your paper up using the grid on the trimming surface. When you're ready, press down the blade and trim!

I absolutely love my full-size Fingerguard Trimmer, but it was always too big to take in my craft bag; this smaller version is perfect! Cuts just as well as the big version but is much more portable, and the spare blades fit in a space underneath so there's no losing them! Great piece of kit!
