Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad, Tumbled Glass Code: DSI-6877

"Tumbled Glass" is a light blue distress ink pad which is great for adding an authentic vintage feel to cards and scrapbooks.

The ink is excellent for stamping on or applying directly to ordinary paper, card, tissue, wood and other porous surfaces, as well as most glossy surfaces like vellum, photos and coated papers.

To create a realistic aged effect on paper, first scrunch your paper into a ball, then flatten it back out. Rub the ink over the paper so it colours all the contours. Then spray the paper with water so the ink spreads. You can repeat the process for a deeper colour.

Alternatively, you can stamp onto damp paper. The stamped image will bleed into the page. You can continue to stamp and spray, stamp and spray until you achieve the effect you are looking for. The wetter the paper, the more it will bleed. For a nice crisp image to finish, leave your paper to dry before stamping the last impression.

The compact pad measures about 5cm x 5cm (2" x 2"), and the ink is acid-free, non-toxic and fade resistant.
