Five classic oval dies. They are great for cutting out apertures from card blanks, or creating oval panels for mounting images. You can also cut out a shape with one die, then use a smaller one to emboss it, or cut out an oval from the middle to make a frame.
This set of dies also coordinates with the Classic Scalloped Ovals (Large), Beaded Ovals and Deckled Edge Classic Ovals (Large), allowing you to create layered mats.
The dies can be used in the Cuttlebug, as well as most other popular machines including the Sizzix Bigshot and Spellbinders Wizard.
Cuttlebug instructions:
To die cut, assemble parts in the following order, from the bottom up, before passing through the machine:
- Spacer Mat A
- Thin Die Adaptor Mat C
- Spellbinders die (cutting surface up)
- Card or paper
- Cutting Pad B
To emboss:
- Spacer Mat A
- Spellbinders die (cutting surface up, card or paper cutout inside the die)
- Embossing mat for metal dies
- 2 or 3 pieces of scrap card
- Two x Cutting Pad B
Approximate oval sizes (from smallest to largest):
- 2cm x 2.5cm (3/4" x 1")
- 3.3cm x 4.5cm (1 1/4" x 1 3/4")
- 4.5cm x 6cm (1 3/4" x 2 1/3")
- 6cm x 7.5cm (2 1/3" x 3")
- 7cm x 9.5cm (2 3/4" x 3 3/4")
Please note - you will need a die cutting machine to use this item.
