Memory Box Die, Darla Butterfly Code: MBD-8510
Coordinates with the Vivienne Butterfly die to create a fantastic overlaid design.
This die measures approximately 1.8 x 2.5".
Memory Box dies are thin steel dies that can be used in the Cuttlebug, as well as most other popular machines including the Sizzix Big Shot and Spellbinders Grand Calibur.
To die cut, they use exactly the same sandwich you would use for Spellbinders Nestabilities, which is as follows (from the bottom up):
Cuttlebug:
- Spacer Mat A
- Thin Die Adaptor Mat C
- Memory Box die (cutting surface up)
- Card or paper
- Cutting Pad B
Big Shot:
- Solo platform and shim
- Solo Thin Die Adaptor
- Cutting pad
- Card or paper
- Memory Box die (cutting surface down to face card/paper)
- Cutting pad
The dies can also be used for embossing, for which you will also require an embossing mat.
